Dog Supplies FAQs

How many dog toys does my pet really need?
The answer to this really might depend quite a bit on how much you play with or plan to play with your dog. The fact is that although dogs can play with toys by themselves for a few moments, they quickly get bored with them if they have nobody else to play with.
It is important that you try to make time to play with your dog. If you do, the amount of toys needed will not be as important as the amount of time spent playing is. This can make you and your dog happier and keep more money in your wallet.

What are the most important factors when considering what kind of dog food to buy?

Before you buy any food, it is best to consider exactly what it is that your dog needs. For example, if you have a growing puppy in need of mental and physical growth, there are types of food especially made for puppies.
On the other hand, if you are looking for a different type of food for an older dog or one who may be a little overweight, there are foods you can buy that will not put as much weight on the dog. These foods can also contribute to weight loss for your dog with a little bit of exercise.

How often do I need to groom my dog?
Some dogs need to be groomed often because they have bugs like fleas or ticks that attach themselves to the dogs. This grooming is not about pampering, but instead concerns the dog’s general health. Of course, there are other occasions when the dog owner simply wants to pamper his or her dog. There is nothing wrong with this. In fact, a pampered dog might in fact be a happier as well as a healthier dog. And that is really a good thing for everybody.
